● Depending on how broad the topic, registrations will
typically be anything from 100-500+, with roughly 1/3
attending live and another 1/3 watching the recording.
● Often delivered in a panel format, with 3-4 speakers plus
moderator, over a 40m – 1 hour period
● Ahead of the panel discussion points and themes are laid
out and prepared
●  The session is recorded and re-shared again and again in later months, providing you with visibility far beyond the webinar itself

Workshop

● We work with you to define a very specific target invite list of your

● The format is fully interactive, in ‘meeting’ as opposed to ‘webinar’
format, typically a presentation is given with the participants feeding
back continually, this will usually last for 1 hour.
● Sometimes the format may include an element of entertainment, such
as wine or chocolate tasting depending on your goals.
● Attendee feedback during the session is also very useful for tailoring

THE PROCESS

SETTING GOALS

Setting goals: Define what success looks like in terms of audience numbers/ makeup and other KPIs. This will also help define which is the best format to utilise.

CREATE A TIMELINE

Depending on the format and other events, timelines might typically be anything from a few weeks to many months. The timeline will form the roadmap to success and keep the core team aligned.

TECHNOLOGY SELECTION

Amongst the technology elements to be considered are registrations, streaming, networking, production. This can become complex especially if the event expands in scope.

AGENDA BUILDING

Our content team will work with you to define what topics and themes are likely to best attract your target audience, and to package them in a way not perceived as a sales pitch.

DEFINING SPEAKERS

Typically consisting of 1-2 of your team/partners, and 1-2 of your clients (where possible), with a moderator provided by Commodities People. Speakers should be subject matter experts and able to engage an audience.

DESIGN

Everything from promotional materials, landing pages, backdrops must be considered and prepared to ensure the visuals match the quality of the content, and your brand is perceived correctly.

PROMOTION

A marketing plan will be developed between yours and our marketing teams, particularly focused around email and social media activities, to ensure maximum attendance from both of our databases and networks.

LOGISTIC

Ongoing liaison with the attendees to ensure they are informed and not suffering technical difficulties, correct permissions and access granted for speakers, ensuring adequate security and screening in place and that any technology risk is eliminated.
